50 Cent In 40 Projects Southside Jamaica,Queens
They may have stopped the performance and the actual ''Family Day' event for now, but it didnt stop 50 Cent from treating fans living in his old neigborhood to an eventful weekend regardless. After bussing countless people out to Great Adventure on Saturday and giving a performance there, he hit up Southside to the shocking surprise to many fans on Sunday where he met with old friends and took pictures with fans.

I just want to say from the bottom of my heart…… thank you for your continued support. I’m sorry I wasn’t allowed to speak to anyone as this case was on-going. I can now say this has been the most painful moment in my entire life, but knowing that you were still standing by Chris’ side in his time of need made this a little easier for us. Because of all your prayers, God brought him through. I just want to say God has never failed me and never will. All moms and dads, please stand by your children and pray for their goodness each and everyday. Chris and I love you so much. As the tears fall from my eyes and the pain lingers in my heart, I still say thank You God, thank You, thank You almighty God. If any of you wonder why I continue to speak of God, it’s because I know no other way. I made a promise to Him I would never be ashamed of him no matter where I am or who I talk to. You see this whole thing isn’t about Chris, it’s about God. He wants to show all of you the goodness of Him through Chris. Chris will be addressing all of his fans very soon. We love you so much and so does God. ”

Kimberley Anyadike became the youngest African American girl to ever fly across country.The trip was a tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen of WWII,and one living member of those heros went along for the ride.

Remember Sarah Stokes From MTV’s ‘Making The Band’????
Yeah, that’s her. According to TMZ:
This bloody mug shot was taken after Stokes was arrested for domestic violence August 2 at their home in Moreno Valley, CA. According to law enforcement sources, Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony — she tripped, fell down and accused him of doing it.
We’re told Sara — who hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm — while their 3 kids watched. Paramedics and cops came and Stokes was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The D.A. is deciding whether to charge her.
Sara’s lawyer, Eric Kayira, tells us, “Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”
Wait….we just forgot, who’s this girl again…

Former NY Giants Wide Receiver Burress Indicted On Gun Charges
NFL star Plaxico Burress was indicted by a grand jury yesterday, on weapons charges, stemming from the former New York Giant wide receiver shooting himself in the thigh on November 29th, in New York’s Latin Quarter nightclub. Plax could face a minimum of 3 1/2 years if convicted

New Chris Breezy..........................
Will the public ever accept Chris Brown again? I really think people are taking it a little too far. I am not saying I support Breezy's abusive ways AT ALL, but people hang posters on their walls of rappers who have killed people and sold drugs, what makes Chris any different? I think he is too talented to just be ignored and I'm sure he is going to prove that with his next album.
ANYWAY...Chris dropped a song today called "Shine For Me". The track is very cool, Chris has great singing capabilities which he clearly displays here. With Michael Jackson passing, the world needs to hold onto the few all-around talented entertainers we still have. Are YOU too appalled by Chris Brown's abuse scandal to listen to the track?

Mike Vick Hits The Strip Club.......................
In other news, one of our loyal "NewYork2Va" readers sent over some juice about Michael Vick. Apparently he wasted no time after getting off house arrest yesterday. Said YBF reader spotted Mike at a popular Gentlemen’s club called Atlantis in Virginia Beach last night. And he was partying it up with Allen Iverson and his wife. Hmmm. One of the dancers also said that Allen didn’t throw out a single dollar all night despite bragging about being a “money making machine.” When will dudes stop pissing off strippers? That’s how a lot of trouble starts…
I was reading the latest Vibe Magazine and it asked on the back page if Trey Songz is the new Chris Brown. I think Trey has the talent for it but I dont think he has the fanbase like Chris Breezy does.

Kelis Set To Receive $55,000 Per Month From Nas In Court Ruling!
We’re assuming that Kelis is a very happy woman today, after a judge ruled that Nas will have to shell out $55,000 per month in child and spousal support. According to TMZ.com:

Nas & Kelis Name Newborn Son “Knight Jones”
Nas confirms that his newborns son name is Knight yesterday in Queensbridge projects in NYC. Pretty cool name if you ask us.

When I had said previously about Fab getting all 'soft' on fans, I was wrong. He was just saving his creativity and wit for this album because this album is RIDICULOUS. Maybach Music 2.5 ?
With today's economy, most of us aren't riding around in $400,000 luxury cars, but in case you want to be reminded of what its like, Rick Ross has provided us with a third installment of his "Maybach Music". The track is officially titled as the "Maybach Music 2 Remix", as DJ Khaled kindly yells in our ears at the beginning of the song. It features T-Pain on the same beat and hook from the original "Maybach Music 2" with new verses from Pusha T, Birdman, Fabolous, and The Boss himself. I love the beat and I am very happy they resurrected it for this remix. The new verses are decent, Ross and Fab definitely go the hardest. It is very hard to upstage Kanye and Wayne's DOPE rapping on the original but they tried their best. If you can stand to listen to DJ Khaled's annoying announcement at the beginning of the track you will also hear that there is a "Maybach Music 3" on the way, likely to be featured on Ross' fourth album
